Maryam Muliaee is an artist/researcher, PhD student in media studies and instructor at University at Buffalo, New York. Her works are multidisciplinary, ranges from video/sound installations, locative media including site-specific soundwalks, experience design and mapping practices, in which she draws upon themes such as erasure, absence, local history, memory, and remembrance. Maryam’s works has been shown in more than 30 galleries and juried exhibitions throughout Europe, Japan, Iran and US since 2007.
