I am inspired by American-born Joseph Cornell whose works paved the way for Assemblage art. I am driven to create images that portray the disturbed soul within all of us. I create life-telling stories through found object mixed-media Assemblage. The skeletons in my family's closets run deep and are a constant source of inspiration for me. I strive to evoke emotion in the viewer, be it sorrow or laughter, anger or jubilation. Ultimately, I want the audience to feel. I view my work as a celebration of my life's tragedies and triumphs.
