About Me

Jess Abbott, 19,  began art early and has no formal training. He has created various works for his school, family, friends and ultimately the world with his international awards such as: Third Place and an honorable mention in the Istanbul Center’s International Art Contest, A Finalist two years running in the international River of Words Art and Poetry Contest, as well as many state contests such as: 2008 and 2007 state winner of the River of Words Art and Poetry Project, 2nd in his age class in the Georgia Junior Duck Stamp Art Contest in the same contest in the preceding year he placed 3rd. His work has been published into the River of Words Anthology of Art as well as Art According to Young People also an art anthology. He has won numerous awards as an actor as well as in art including State Best Actor Runner Up two years running and a member of the State All-Star Cast in 2009-2010. He is currently studying Photojournalism at college and hopes to become a Christian Missionary and Photojournalist in the feild.
