Quick Facts

Alli Rufrano is a passionate image-maker who uses photographic media to release her inner self.  Mysterious, dark, and often surreal images reflect a vision that questions reality and meaning.  Her evocative use of light, subject and content enables Rufrano to tap into the viewers’ perception and emotion, creating a personal dialogue between the work and the observer.


Ms. Rufrano holds a M.F.A in Photography from C.W. Post of Long Island University.  She is an Associate Professor at Briarcliffe College, Department of Graphic Design and Digital Photography, and an adjunct instructor at Long Island University and Nassau Community College.


Alli Rufrano exhibits her work in solo and group exhibition in the U.S. and internationally.  She is a founding member of fofo gallery located in Huntington, Long Island where she is currently serving as Vice President.
