Statement

Khem Caigan was born in Passaic, New Jersey on February 18th, 1955. He worked as studio assistant to Larry Rivers and Harry Everett Smith, and studied natural pigment preparation with Michael Price.
He now lives and works in Rhinebeck, New York.
His hand-made pigments and paint media were included in the Dear Mother Nature show at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art in 2012.
