‘Over the past few years my work has been about the landscape of place. To me the most important aspect of being an artist is to be authentic through the act of mark making. To be able to create a narrative about the places I inhabit is an essential part of my process.
My mixed media works speak about a sense of time and place. Where fragments of past and present merge together seeking answers by revealing an intimate glimpse in a layered landscape – both physically and metaphorically.’
During 2012 her work has been included in selected group shows in Matera and Venice, Italy. A short video toured with the Norm/No-Madic video projection pan global exhibition launched in Melbourne Aust and Liverpool UK coinciding with the Liverpool Biennale ‘12.
