I see the world 50 times more prettier than the average person. My paintings are the mirrors reflecting this beauty. Are there any eyes out there able to stimulate this joy?
My art represents a subtle restless search in the inner world of human creature, trying to reveal the psychological and spiritual problems modern man seems to face. With my art - I feel I'm helping to heal the feeling of meaningless life and spiritual poverty which represents a current crisis for many people. To me, color is a sense and the lines represent determination, using both, I construct my work through a joyful process.
What The Critics Have Said About Abelseed Art:
* "The power and unique force of this international artist's work can take one's breath away." (Belanthi Gallery, Brooklyn, New York City, 1995)
* "His work is different and full of life. It looks like a new vision of a new world being born. The message of it could carry the idea of a new inner power for a kind of art which has started to lose its spirit." (Dorothy L. Hansen, Poet-Lecturer, Crosby Hall- London, England, October 1983)
* "Abelseed's work is full of life. Viewing it makes you think of a great talent surrounded with rich imagination. He's got strong keen ability to go deep inside the human character looking for those unknown senses and hidden abilities. He uses his sharp imagination to destroy the realistic structure of human features and rebuilds his own figures revealing what he achieved from his journeys. What is amazing is not his unique style of recreation of human features, but it's how he makes you feel. The whole processseems to be very easy on his hand." (Professor Alfred Hinton, University Of Michigan Atr College, September 1990)
