Creativity has been my gift for as long as I can remember. It is how I see the world and how I communicate my experiences. I find myself wrapped up in the images I see, dream and imagine. I dwell on these images at length hoping to etch them in time. I struggle to rectify these different experiences. My work is a combined reduction of these images. It is an attempt to create a world more beautiful than our own, but it is our experiences that shade our view. I do believe that there is more to this world. Things that cannot be seen. Things that we feel and great things are being revealed to us only if we just listen. Maybe, I am just trying to work with reality. Trying to capture that moment in time before disenchantment sets in.

About Me

I am Kerryann, mainly a painter and photographer, who is currently working on a career in Historic Preservation. I am an all around creative person who loves all things pertaining to art and culture. I have a deep passion for learning and I love working with my hands. I am currently completing my Masters Thesis for an MS in Historic Preservation from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (class of 2013). I live and work in Saint Petersburg, Florida, where I recently moved in June on a mission team to plant the Tampa Bay International Christian Church. At this moment, I am creating new art work with an emphasis on self examination and exploring spirituality.
