Jeanne Hahn says, "My themes are taken from nature, also family and the classic nude figure."
"In my work, I look for a balanced interaction between the right and left brain influences. My graphic interpretations are a combination of spontaneous instinctive reactions and numerous techniques and approaches that support creative flow. I have come to trust my intuitive source, my 'bliss' for my directions in art, seeking the joy and excitement of discovery. In painting, I have discovered by process for letting go of preconceived ideas, for personal growth, and for a new found freedom."
Jeanne returned to her pursuit of artistic expression under the guidance of Professor Alex Vilumsons, Ph.D. for eleven years. She flourished in this truly creative environment. She is also gifted in her ability to teach and motivate others.
Jeanne is founding board member of Artist Co-op 7, an education-based cooperative for exhibiting artists created in 1989 and based at the American Jewish University-Whizin Center for Continuing Education in Bel Air, CA since 1999. Jeanne currently serves as the managing director of the Co-op. She has been the Co-op's original Art Panel Director since 1993, Group Exhibtion Chair since 1995, as well as the Co-op's Art Program Teaching Team Supervisor since 1995. Jeanne has been instructing Co-op Art Program courses since 1995 in Watercolor Painting and Right Brain Figure Drawing.
Jeanne's artistic achievements are personally rewarding and humbling simultaneously. "My life's canvas is incomplete. I'm very blessed."
