Statement
Peter’s paintings are bathed in bright and and vibrant colors and filled with endless variations of natural light. His sensitive interpretation of local scenes heighten our awareness of places we have always looked at but never truly “seen”.
Peter Chepus is a native of Cuba and a long time resident of North Truro. He studied art at New York University, the Cape Cod School of Art, and the Palm Beach Armory School of the Arts. He is also an accomplished teacher and a faculty member of the Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill.
