Rennan Dizon is an aspiring artist and illustrator from Sydney, Australia. He graduated with a Diploma in Graphic Design and was rewarded the TAFE NSW State Medal for completing the course at a distinction level. He immediately took on a full time role as a Graphic Designer and has over 6 years of experience in the sewing and craft industry.
In 2010, Rennan decided to move to London for 2 years, where he found many creative opportunities. While working full time, he retouched conceptual fashion photo shoots for a creative team called ‘Slaves of the Extraordinary’ and was also involved with designing graphics for a charity called ‘Mayamiko’.
During his time in London, Rennan rekindled his passion for art and discovered new styles and techniques in illustration. He likes to explore different subjects including fashion, people, lifestyle and pop culture. In April 2012, he created a collection of drawings called ‘The English Gentleman’, which he showcased in a group exhibition at the Gaffa Gallery in Sydney, Australia. His style at present is an influence from Japanese and Psychedelic art of the 60s, where his focus is on detailed lines, patterns and textures.
