In my work, static sounds and visual re-occurrences play a role in revealing similarities between sound-shapes and natural phenomena. Algae, mosses, and smaller bio-molecular formations have become template I use for this investigation, as they are often bound together physically and visually to create larger anthropomorphic structures. To recreate these occurrences, I employ a systematic process devised to create an appearance of stochasticity. The parallel between these formations arrive as an example of the dichotomy between the complexity and simplicity of botanic life.
