“I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way... things I had no words for.” ― Georgia O'Keeffe

Art to me is a way to soul search and to find inner peace. I explore varieties of medium as an artist to convey certain messages through individual art work or through a series of work. The one subject matter that I began and will continue to build on is the concept of dependability. At every stage of a person life there is a need to depend on someone or something to help guide their journey. My work consists of continuous collaboration of life experiences, thoughts, feelings and dreams from different realms which creates my reality.

I was exposed to the art world when I joined the Visual Arts and Design Academy at Pasadena High School. After high school, I attended Pasadena City College to study Graphic Design, and continued with the same major after I transferred to Cal State Long Beach.  Somewhere along my path to become a graphic designer I lost interest in it, and felt that this was not for me. I changed my major to Fiber Arts and 3D design and graduated with a BFA degree.

“Where I was born and where and how I have lived is unimportant. It is what I have done with where I have been that should be of interest.”Georgia O'Keeffe
