Statement

Jan Brandt is a  printmaker, mixed media artist and gallery owner in Central Illinois. Jan Brandt Gallery is located midway between St. Louis, Missouri, and Chicago, IL.  Rotating exhibits are shown at the gallery which is located in an historic former Coca-Cola Bottling plant. Brandt's work has been exhibited nationwide, including locally in Bloomington-Normal, IL, as well as Chicago, New York, and San Francisco. Brandt holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Illinois State University in Normal, IL.  Ms. Brandt's current work involves creating contemporary wall pieces and soft sculptures utilizing recycled clothing and found textiles.
