Contemporary painter Marcia Santore uses vibrant color, subtle texture, and both strong and delicate contrast to explore the boundary between recognizable subject matter and complete abstraction. Santore has exhibited her paintings in solo, juried, and group exhibitions throughout the United States, and her artwork is held in public and private collections in the United States and abroad. She holds a BFA in studio art from the University of Texas at Austin. Santore has lived and worked in cities throughout the United States and travelled extensively in North America and Europe.
