biography

Jeff Chabot’s work deals with the connection between nature and technology and the space in which they co-exist. Video and still imagery, both created and appropriated, are manipulated into different contexts. His current work in video is based on gravity, and the moments that seems to defy it.

Chabot’s work also delves into advertising criticism, but with the intent to create challenging imagery. By recycling landscape images found on television and in magazines, he repurposes them to question the context in which we view advertising imagery.
