Meike Nixdorf, born 1976, is a German photographer and artist. She is currently about to graduate with a BA in Psychology from the University of Berlin and received her formal education in photography and video at the International Center of Photography during her three-year stay in New York, 2005-2008. Her work has been exhibited in the USA, UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Brazil and Guatemala and is, amongst others, part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, Rio de Janeiro (MAM).
Meike´s main interest lies in examining and raising questions about perception, how it is influenced by personality and how this influence is reflected in the choices one makes as a photographer.
