I work best from the inside out. Over time my memory has stored snapshots of all kinds: events, impressions, reactions, and experiential feelings and insights. Certain visuals I see today cause a powerful connection with these snapshots from the past. It is this connection that constantly creates new images for my canvases. As my life unfolds, so do my paintings. I am prolific, painting every day. My large body of work reflects internal challenges, accomplishments, anxieties, beliefs, and sense of purpose. These are my personal stories of self-discovery. JD,'07
"There is extreme power in Jack’s work, yet a delicacy that leaves the heart yearning and sometimes pounding. His combination of pointalism and impressionism captures the moment vividly. Each piece always leaves one with the feeling of being quite alive." Denise Williams, Santa Fe Art World"
