Anastasia Samoylova is an artist and educator based in the Chicago area. Her research interests include Internet and appropriation, and her art practice is based in photographic media. She holds an MFA in Interdisciplinary Art Studies from Bradley University and an MA in Environmental Design from the Russian State University of Humanities. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Samoylova's project Landscape Sublime is in the collection at Midwest Photographers Project at the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago. Samoylova serves as an Assistant Professor of Photography at Illinois Central College.
