Wilfredo Prieto was born in Sancti Spiritus (Cuba) in 1978. He graduated at Instituto Superior de Arte, in Havana, and he currently lives and works between Havana and Barcelona. His work has earned him a Cartier Award in 2008 and has been widely exhibited in prestigious venues and events, such as SMAK Museum in Gent, the Sao Paulo Biennale and the Venice Architecture Biennale.
