Stephanie Rohlfs’ work is a playful investigation of the inanimate life of objects. Using drawing, sculpture and installation, Rohlfs creates self-contained worlds in which formal considerations of color, line, and composition exist on equal footing with play, awkwardness, and failure.
Rohlfs received her BFA from the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia and her MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. She currently lives and works in San Francisco, California.
