Matthew Morrocco (American, b. 1989) is a fine art photographer whose work examines the tension between sexuality and emotional intimacy. His work engages with themes of history, aging, sexuality and isolation. After graduating from New York University's Gallatin School he was awarded a year-long fellowship with a blade of grass. He has been a participant in the Picture Berlin Residency Program and has shown internationally in New York and Berlin. His most recent work, The Portrait Series, was exhibited at Temp Art Space in New York.
He is currently pursuing an MFA at Columbia University.
