Statement

French-born Carolyn Cardinet is an Australia based visual artist.ʉ۬She holds a Post Graduate Masters of Fine Art from RMIT University, Melbourne and a Bachelor of Fine Art (Painting) from the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne University.

Carolyn’s work has featured in solo and group exhibitions. Her work has been shown at Melbourne, Sydney, Delhi, Singapore and Dubai art fairs.

Last year new bodies of work, inspired by the beached detritus she collects, were presented at The Library Art Space and The St Kilda Town hall. Carolyn was also invited to show her ephemeral works at The French Consulate and to have a solo exhibition in the stately ‘Alliance Française’ in Melbourne.

In March 2014 Carolyn took part of Sustainable Living Festival at the West beach Pavilion and as the featured artist for the zero waste event at the historic White house  both in St Kilda.

She is currently working on large installation to be presented in open air exhibitions and festivals.
