Statement

As an L.A. native, a son of a musician, and a man that has worked in the music industry for several years, M11X aka Mikal Hameed celebrates his 15th year as a working artist in New York.  His latest works blend his musical history and his creative nature.  As a designer and artist, he calls on us to forget our indivualized nature and relationship with our headphones and demands that we start to share our music as it was meant to be; unplugged and free. Mikals manifesto blends the iconic image of the boombox and alters the platform to which music is brought to the masses.
