Alexis Arnold is a San Francisco-based artist whose work explores the visual display of time, memory, and natural history through an evolving investigation of familiar materials, objects, and processes. Her work has been exhibited nationally, including at The Apsen Art Museum, Bergdorf Goodman, Southern Exposure,  and The Workshop Residence.  Alexis’ work is included in collections in the libraries of SFMOMA, the University of Pittsburgh, and Virginia Commonwealth University, and has received review in Art Practical, Laughing Squid, Colossal, BuzzFeed, Fast Company, The Wall Street Journal,, Redefine Magazine,, Beautiful/Decay, The SF Examiner, SF Gate, and KQED’s Gallery Crawl Series. Alexis is a recipient of a 2014 Peter S. Reed Foundation Grant.
