Bennett Hall photographed across the US and in his primary residence San Francisco from 1974 to 1997 creating street photography and eclectic portraits, as well as large format landscape and architectural photography. He stopped photographing in 1997 after being attacked while photographing in front of his gallery by a SF policeman - a game changer if you will. Hall artistic focus today is making his extensive archives accessible through web galleries, which includes thousands of historical photographs as well as his own photography.
