Kevin Buzzell is a visual artist working in lens-based and camera-less photographic practices. He is currently a 2016 MFA candidate at the University of California, Los Angeles, and holds a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. As an analog photographer, Buzzell's work is a series of photo-technical accidents in which the slickness of his images belies a laborious process. He disregards the medium’s ability to represent, focusing instead on the capacity to achieve unintentional and experimental results with the manufactured materials of photographic film and paper. Buzzell lives and works in Los Angeles.
