Statement

Richard Capasse studied art at Silvermine College of
Art, New Canaan, CT., at the Yale and Art School in New Haven, and was accepted at the
University of Penn Master's Art Program for MFA by Neil Wulliver. Studied with
Richard Lytle, Dean at Silvermine College for two
years. Both Welliver and Lytle studied with and were
disciples' of colorist Josef Albers at Yale School of
Art. Capasse has exhibited and won ‘Best in Show' at
numerous art competitions in New York and Connecticut.
Previous exhibitions included the Bayless Gallery in
Norfolk, CT., the Saugatuck Gallery in Westport, CT.,
and the Katonah Gallery in Katonah, New York. His work
is in both private and corporate collections including
PepsiCo, NY and AvcoLycomng, Washington, DC.
