Statement

I have always enjoyed doodling.  A few years ago I was working a job that consisted of sitting and passing large amounts of time. Day after day I doodled 12 hours away and received good reviews from coworkers on the unconscious product of my boredom.   I bought myself an art pad and some colored pencils and started creating.  Without knowing it I had found something that relieved stress and that I really enjoyed doing.  I bought some better quality materials (dry pastel powder and some charcoal pencils) and kept my self sane in a crazy period of my life, by drawing out the stress and anxiety one piece of paper at a time.  I never thought that i would actually paint ( I thought I'd make a big mess) but it wasn't long before i bought some acrylic paints and some cheap canvas and found a new expression.  So essentially since 2008 I have enjoyed this hobby/release. I would really like to hear others honest opinion of my work.  Loved ones tend to be less critical and easier to please, depending on the family i guess.
