Statement

If the artist is a traveler on a plane, my artwork is the pilot. I may start the journey, but there is something else that moves and guides me to the final destination. It's this process that has inspired me to continue as an artist. Being a musician for years, I've grown to be a creative junkie of sorts, as there is nothing more satisfying than to create something out of nothing.

My digital artwork is created using many layered photos to simulate the color and texture of a brush stroke, then adding color and texture using virtual brushes and filters to finish the piece. The intention is to have a work of art that more closely resembles traditional painting, rather than the more usual computer generated art.
