Born in Mexico City on May 12th 1979, from a very early age I knew that my life would be permanently linked to the exploration of means and techniques of expression with different materials then I enroled in an artschool to learn the principles of drawing, printmaking and sculpture, I dropped the school to continue my formative process and experimentation when I realized what "contemporary" art had turned into... "The Emperor has not clothes" to sum it up in a single phrase.

Since then, I have developed a language through the use of Traditional or Alternative means of image production where I intend to privilege the naked brushstroke, incision, stain or cut, as a record of the imprinted gesture of the human hand, mind and emotion over the raw matter, to evoke instead of representing to allow the images to be completed by the observer, the beholder from his/her own subjectivity, concludes the creative process by summoning in the painting or print, the dormant spirit, the weight of the flesh and significance. It is my intention that in each one of my images the viewer can feel the latent paradox and contradiction, the celebration through line, form, colour and texture of what I personally consider human.
