Akiko Kayano born in Tokyo, Japan
In 1993 she graduated in Painting Nihonga (traditional Japanese art) at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.
In 1994 she won first prize in art competition organized by the City Urayasu (Chiba).
She moved to Florence in 1995, making artistic exhibition of many country (Japan, America, Italy, China and Korea)
She attended the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, initially studyng more abstract painting, she graduated a doctorate in Painting.
Since 2007, lives and works of artistic activity in Prato, Italy.
