What I see and feel is what I paint. Being outside gives me the illusion of being released of life's restrictions imposed on us during our daily existance. I seek a destination void of man's invasion.

I am inspired by the omnipotence of nature's landscape, a place that invokes all five of my senses. I transfer these emotions onto my surface wit blends of vibrant color and texture, My imaginative dexterity for color allows me to convey any mood while maintaining the harmony that exists in nature. This is what it means to be a Color Equivalent Landscape Painter.

The unaltered, rugged terrain is my visual prefrence, rather than the well-kept garden or park. I like to start my visual journey on location, to capture my sense of place as I reinterpret my emotional experience.

My ongoing exploration allows me to share wondrous vistas that explode with color on my surfaces, while taking the viewer on a journey into the countryside. All is right in my world when I am capturing an image onto my surface.

I was fortunate to grow up in a community of professional artists and realized at a young age I was meant to be an artist. Through traveling wiht my family, I grew to appreciate being outdoors for the peacefulness of being surrounded by nature.
