Statement

I produce work that often exists within the folds of fine art and craft—overlaps that exist within the struggle to determine this polarization. These works invoke visual vernaculars familiar to fine art making but alienated nonetheless by attempting to reconcile it with different schools of aesthetic production, such as graphic design and handicraft. My aim is to make objects and images that provoks this impasse within the fine and applied arts and that gives way to a more considered relationship with form and content.
