My practice is rooted in a tactile language of mark marking; it's a responsive process that is accumulative and gestural. Ideas are generated through movement and touch- they are felt experiences that are formulated and composed in real time. The output comes in the forms of site-specific installations and assembled sculptures- linear narratives, visual navigations evoking the sense of time, balance, impermanence and stability. I think of my body as an active participant in this creative process- orchestrating visual compositions, performing objects in a place in which the work inhabits.
