Statement

Magone Šarkovska works in traditional oil painting. The subjects of artworks are details from environment. They get an almost glorified status in the paintings as they cast aside the infinite possibilities of painting in favor of a narrow, precisely oriented approach and to find the rhythmic structures and compositions in mundane fragments of reality. The result is significant, decorative and almost realistic portrait of the moment of thing.

Magone Šarkovska is a painter, she works in traditional oil painting but the subject of her work is not at all traditional – details from her environment that normally would not receive much attention get an almost glorified status in her paintings.
