Paris Mancini is from New England, and is currently enrolled as a Film major at the San Francisco Art Institute.  She attended the Educational Center for the Arts in New Haven CT from 2000-2004 where she studied and practiced painting and video work, with a strong theatrical background.  Her work is everywhere, everyone and everything. Like a spoiled child, she allows it to grow chaotically in every direction. It is intuitive, sentimental and obtuse.  Paris still continues to focus on painting and filmmaking, and currently lives in New York City.

Artist's Statement, The End:  Paris Mancini's video works speak to the power of shared human experience in the face of modern, industrialized isolation. In " The End," Mancini portrays her subject's struggle between states of consciousness upon confronting death. In this trial of letting go of the recognizable, she accepts the unknown within herself.
