Statement

Ruben Carrasco (Puebla, Mexico 1976), was exposed to art from an early stage by his mother, who had a keen interest in art. His formal art training began in 1995 in Mexico when he joined the Visual Arts Institute. He has since furthered his studies at the Anahuac University in Cancun, Mexico, and then after at McGill University and Dawson College in Montreal, Canada.

A world traveler, Ruben has lived between Europe and America working and exhibiting in various countries. Currently, he is based in Montreal where he produces his artwork in his studio in downtown area and collaborates with the General Consulate of Mexico as member of the jury of the Assessment Committee of Art Exhibitions for “Espacio México.”


His most recent and outstanding exhibitions include:
