Donna is a New-York bred kid, a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College in New York, a fan of art that walks the line between cute and dark, and a lover of theatre, music, comics, and animals-especially pugs (the dogs with the funny, wrinkled faces).  While in school, she focused on playwriting, psychology, and art, and got into comics (again) when writing and drawing them during a six month study abroad program at Goldsmith's College in New Cross, South London.

A big city person (with a special love for London), who presently resides in the City of Angels, California, D.V.L. has been lucky enough to be in art shows at the NoHo Gallery L.A. in North Hollywood, Crewest Gallery in Downtown L.A., Picture This Gallery in Long Beach, the L.A. Municipal Art Gallery, and the monthly Cannibal Flower show, and Feminine Oddities LLC shows at Zero Point Space in South Los Angeles and the Odds Long Beach Lofts.
