Statement

Helene Mukhtar is a painter, animator and mixed media installation artist. She is also the producer of a Brooklyn Free Speech TV art program. She was born and educated in the South of France. She now lives and works in New York City. She studied at the School of Visual Arts and the Art Students League in New York City and received an MFA from Florida State University. Helene’s work has been exhibited in numerous shows and art fairs in the US and abroad. Recent solos shows and art fairs include 440 Gallery in Brooklyn, Galerie ArtSud in France, Ion Studio in Soho and the Asia Contemporary Art Fair in Hong Kong.
