David Gordon is a composer and visual artist based in Santa Barbara, CA. His work includes music for both traditional instruments and electronics, installations, photography, paintings and video. David’s research interests include music visualization, image sonification, algorithmic composition and intersections between art and music.
David holds a B.A. in Art from Pomona College and a M.M. in Composition from California State University, Northridge. He is currently pursuing a joint Ph.D in Music Composition and M.S. in Media, Arts, and Technology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where his teachers include Clarence Barlow, Curtis Roads and Joel Feigin.
