Jenn Berger’s work takes an intensely personal look at her surrounding social environment in an increasingly digital world. Utilizing mediums as varied as performance, video, collage, drawing, and sculpture, she considers the relationship between humans and animals, family members, and strangers, collaborating with them both in person and virtually. Born in Columbia, Maryland, Jenn Berger currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California. She recently completed an MFA in art at UC Irvine and earned her undergraduate degrees in fine art media at Art Center College of Design and in philosophy and art history at Tulane University. Recent exhibitions include Another Cats Show at 356 Mission, Stupid Pills’ Modern Animals #1 at Hyperion Tavern, and the upcoming Violence, Nudes, and Grandmas at The Situation Room.
