FAQ – ArtSlant Prize Premium Placement
The ArtSlant Prize Showcase Series is an annual nine-round juried competition to present and expose artists from around the world. In each round, the participating artists who are selected as first stage Showcase Winners receive the opportunity to move into our premium placement program.
The premium placement program monthly charge (only $25) allows participating artists to be featured in our homepage display. Each artist who has become a Showcase Winner has the option of cancelling or reinstating their premium placement at any time. Many artists elect this exposure as a regular part of their exhibition advancement and self-promotion.
Here's how you can manage your premium placement on ArtSlant.
To change your premium placement:
1. Go to your Account by clicking on the menu icon.
2. Under CONTESTS, you will find links for Current and Previous contests. Click on Previous Contests and you will see all images you have entered and each one that won. There will be a Restart or Extend/Cancel option on each image listing that won. This option allows you to manage your premium placement.
3. Click on Restart, Extend or Cancel to change your premium placement subscription for your winning images.
The Showcase premium placement fee is automatically charged monthly for each image that you have actively showing.
To cancel your premium placement:
Whenever you want to cancel, just go back into your Contest Account, follow the same steps as above, and click on cancel premium placement. That will remove you from the Showcase once your current month is complete and you will not be charged any further fees. Your awards page will continue to show that you were a Showcase winner even after you have finished participating in the Premium Placement program.
To change your payment method (Credit Cards or Paypal):
Go to your Account page, click on Payment Method. You can provide a new credit card number there. If you wish to change a Paypal Account, or to move from Paypal payment to credit card paymant or vice versa, please email email@example.com for assistance.
