FAQ - ArtSlant Magazine and Editorial
How do I get my show reviewed?
The Slant magazine offers weekly reviews, interviews, and essays on a city-by-city basis. Our editors and writers have the freedom to select whichever exhibitions they want to review for their city.
ArtSlant believes in providing an open and rich atmosphere where art commentary and dialogue can flourish, where a broad range of opinions and perspectives can be presented. To achieve this aim, the ArtSlant editorial teams do not direct our writers in terms of their picks. We give our writers the chance to review the unusual, the little known, and the brand new.
All Slant reviews link directly to the Writer's Profile, the Exhibit, the Venue, and the Artist(s) that are included in our Exhibition listing.
For consideration by our editorial teams, be sure your exhibitions are listed correctly and completely in ArtSlant Calendars. Include good images with credits, press releases, accurate dates and general info when you enter an exhibit into our calendar. Info for Artists entering exhibits (faq). We also offer space for the ArtSlant community to write reader reviews of any exhibition listed on ArtSlant. Here's how to write a Reader Review.
