2504-910 Caldas da Rainha
The Ceramics Museum was officially created in 1983 and is installed at Quinta Visconde de Sacavem, acquired for the purpose by the State in 1981 and located in the historic Caldas, near the old factory Bordalo Pinheiro. The farm was built in the 1890s by the 2nd Viscount Sacavém, consists of a romantic revival style mansion, an annex building and garden area. The gardens, romantic lines, are an interesting set of evocative taste of the late nineteenth century, with its boulevards, flower beds and lakes, and ceramics to enhance the decorations adorning the whole.
