McCabe Fine Art
Farewell Artillerigatan 40!
Established in 1997, McCabe Fine Art has for the past 5 years had the great privilege to present exhibitions at Artillerigatan 40, Stockholm, Sweden. The exhibition space has presented many world-renowned artists and served as a window to the international art scene in Sweden.
Artillerigatan 40 has proudly hosted the first solo exhibitions in Sweden by remarkable artists such as Damien Hirst, Georg Baselitz, Barry X Ball, Robert Mapplethorpe and Louise Nevelson, establishing a dialogue with the Stockholm community.
McCabe has taken an active role in the local art scene outside of the gallery interests, supporting Marina Abramovic’s weeklong performance The Cleaner, hosted by Moderna Museet, Stockholm, at Eric Ericsonhallen. Paul Frank McCabe very proudly jointly donated with a prestigious Nordic collector, the first Baselitz painting to enter the collection of Moderna Museet, Stockholm, and other artworks by contemporary artists such as Matias Faldbakken.
McCabe, Stockholm is proud to have placed and exhibited leading international artists John Armleder, Alighiero Boetti, Daniel Buren, Latifa Echakhch, Lucio Fontana, Carsten Höller, Yayoi Kusama, Roy Lichtenstein, Nate Lowman, Yoshimoto Nara, Paul McCarthy, Claudio Parmiggiani, Pablo Picasso, Richard Prince, Claudette Schreuders, Rudolf Stingel, Rosemarie Trockel, Andy Warhol and Christopher Wool to name a few....
We look forward to continuing our focused advisory service and presenting international exhibitions in new venues!
