DESCRIPTION

Museo Amparo opened its doors in 1991 in the city of Puebla with the purpose of hosting an art collection that would foster and develop the study of arts and culture. The Museum’s motto is “encounter with our roots”, and its mission was from the start to integrally restore, preserve and promote Mexican art. The main directive of the Museum is to bring the people of Mexico closer to its roots as well as to its more recent sensible expressions, with the purpose of offering the necessary elements to bring us closer to our history and our present.
