DESCRIPTION

The Negev Museum of Art, located in a picturesque listed Ottoman building in Be'er Sheva, has set a goal of bringing high quality art to the Negev's inhabitants and using high professional display standards. The exhibition program showcases milestones in the history of Israeli art, along with young contemporary art. The program also manifests the important role that the Negev plays in Israeli art.

It is a municipal museum that has been going through vigorous development and rejuvenation. Its growing audiences consist of individuals and groups from all over the country, school students, art teachers' courses, overseas groups, and art professionals. The museum cultivates its relationship with its community using the internet, free guided tours, gallery talks, and art and crafts workshops.
