Welcome to Progressive Galleries!
Progressive Galleries launched in the beginning of 2007 under a very strong premise, “Quality and Individuality create the backbone of fine art.” When you enter a Progressive Galleries location, you are introduced to an array of high quality artwork and a presentation that promises to inspire the soul.
Gallery partners, Walter Diehl and Jonas Hair established their “Flagship” gallery on 323 North Queen Street, Lancaster, Pennsylvania 17603. This is in the heart of the eclectic and celebrated “300” block of North Queen surrounded by shops of every nature.
We offer two and three-dimensional artwork ranging from oil and acrylic paintings, sculpture in metal, clay, wood as well as fine art glass. Additionally Progressive Galleries hosts musical events of many genres ranging from jazz, classical, folk, funk, and experimental to name a few. Don’t be surprised if you find visual projectionists, filmmakers, poets, culinary artists, performance artists or even a belly dancer at gallery openings.
In addition to Lancaster, Progressive Galleries has on-going operations in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania as well as York, Pennsylvania. For two years Progressive Galleries launched numerous events out of Der Maennerchor located at 221 North Street in Harrisburg. There is also a constant Progressive Galleries exhibit located in York’s town square titled “The White Rose Gallery Project.”
Progressive Galleries united the three major cities of Central Pennsylvania and is very proud to present the artwork found on this website from these cities and from across the globe.
We hope you enjoy exploring the artwork on this website and know that you are cordially invited to visit us in Lancaster to see it up-close. Our regular business hours are, Tuesdays – Thursdays 11AM – 6PM and Fridays -Saturdays 11AM – 8PM or gladly by appointment.
