Butcher’s Daughter is dedicated to creating innovative, cultural context for contemporary art by expanding opportunities for artists through the proliferation and sale of their work through exhibitions in galleries, museums, non-profit and alternative spaces.

Since 2009, The Butcher’s Daughter has received critical attention in publications such as  Art in America, The New York Times, W Magazine, the L.A. Times, and the Chicago Tribune.

Located in the historical Cass Corridor district of Detroit, the gallery is run by it’s founder, Monica Bowman.
